My name is Mike Becker and I am running for a position on the SCSH Board of Directors. I grew up here in the desert and I am happy to return here after 28 years in Orange County. When I retired after 25 years as an attorney (20 of which were at the Orange County Public Defender's Office), this was the natural place to return.  My wife and I married here, my daughters were born here, and our parents still live here. After searching the many communities available in the desert, we feel fortunate to have landed here at Sun City Shadow Hills.  

When we lived here before, I was in the food and beverage industry.  I managed and owned numerous restaurants - both private and corporate. I know how to balance books and I know how to negotiate with vendors.  I also have the necessary legal experience to formulate knowledgable opinions on some of the complicated issues that come with running a community such as ours.
